Never seen One Piece or know any of the lore but the Tonkotsu ramen absolutely slapped and I was allowed to swap out the noodles for udon so I was very happy. Pork buns were also really nice and the decor was neat. My boyfriend and I spent the (relatively short) time waiting for our food by trying to find out which character on the walls had the largest bounty. Good time and good food!

Our next food adventure with the kids take to us The Thousand Sunny located in Pinecrest with a category 4.9 and more 1,454 reviews, open doors in 2024. This restaurant is like a time machine that transports you to a popular Japanese animated series watched by all children: One Piece. The decor is perfect, making you feel like you're truly experiencing the animation, and the music refreshes your memory of all your favorite scenes that you had forgotten. The children enjoyed their crispy and salty French fries accompanied by delicious chicken nuggets, my wife's opinion was that the ribs with their sweet and savory touch made all the difference, and my opinion of the General Franky burger is that it's exquisite, with an original sauce from the restaurant and caramelized onions, which leaves you no choice but to eat it all the way to the last bite. High recommended placexforckids and whole family place.

The food and drinks are DELICIOUS and the portions for the meals are very generous. It's a very clean and well-kept place. The One Piece decor is so fun to look at! I love all the figurines and Wanted posters. They really did try to give you the feeling that you're inside the Thousand Sunny ship too, with an added bit of whimsy. It's a great place to take the family for the atmosphere, but it can get a little pricey. Definitely gives me a more "quality" vibe than other anime-themed restaurants I've been to. I love coming here!

Honestly, I had pretty low expectations going into this place and was mostly going for the themed cafe. The Japanese Curry was awesome and honestly nearly all of the food was good. There was soup dumplings and takoyaki on the menu that weren't great but everything else we had was very good. Lots of fun drinks (no liquor) and they served beer in replica mugs so that definitely added to the experience. We got drinks and stuff so the cost was a little higher.

DELICIOUS FOOD!!!! The decor and theme are extremely cute and my daughter loved it. More importantly, she loved the food and ate everything. The food is high quality and fresh. We had edamame, fried calamari, saltado, and sizzling short ribs. Can’t wait to come back to try other things on the menu. The restaurant and bathrooms are super clean. The staff are great waiters and we didn’t have to wait for anything. Great customer service.

If you’re looking for one of the most fun, immersive dining experiences in Miami, Thousand Sunny is an absolute must-visit. This anime-inspired restaurant goes far beyond just great food the atmosphere, presentation, and creativity make you feel like you stepped into another world. We started with the fried milk buns, which were soft, warm, slightly sweet, and perfectly golden on the outside a comforting way to kick things off. The potato shrimp was crispy and flavorful, with a satisfying texture that made it hard to stop eating. The hachis takoyaki was another standout, perfectly tender inside with that classic savory umami flavor and delicious toppings. For dumplings, the wagyu beef gyoza was incredibly juicy and rich, with a crispy sear that elevated the whole dish. On the drinks side, the themed beverages were just as impressive as the food we tried the Mera Mera no Mi and Ope Ope no Mi, both beautifully presented, creative, and super refreshing (perfect for Miami’s heat). The Pirate Hot Pot Tonkotsu was comforting and deeply flavorful, with a rich broth that tasted slow-simmered and authentic. For mains, the Sanji’s Signature Korean Beef Short Ribs with Sunny Eggs were absolutely phenomenal tender, smoky, and packed with flavor, especially paired with the runny eggs. To finish, we couldn’t skip dessert, and the Whole Cake Island was the perfect ending indulgent, fun, and beautifully plated. Beyond the food, the service was friendly and attentive, and the themed décor makes this place ideal for photos, date nights, group outings, or anyone who loves anime culture. Every dish feels thoughtfully designed, both visually and in flavor. Highly recommend Thousand Sunny if you want a unique dining experience in Miami that combines great food, creative drinks, and unforgettable ambiance. Definitely a place you’ll want to come back to and bring friends.

The decor is PHENOMENAL!!! There is something for every One Piece fan with decor from all the eras of the show. Figures ranging from hand- to more-than-life-size. (My favorite are the transponder snails for each character). The food is addictively delicious, with the portions matching the price. The bubble tea has just the right sugar and ice level. Favorite: Dr. Chopper. Was here last for a Birthday. They give the Birthday person a Straw Hat (on loan) and a poster (to keep).
